Dylan’s New Year Message 2026

Dear friends,

As we welcome the New Year, we do so with hearts full of gratitude to God. Looking back over the past year, we remember the joys and blessings, but also the challenges and challenging experiences. Through everything, God has been faithful. His grace was sufficient, his love constant, and his presence close to us.

The New Year is a new opportunity – a period of hope, renewal, and deepening our trust in the Lord, we step forward with confidence, knowing that God is already leading us to what lies ahead.

As a church and ministry, may we commit anew to a life of prayer, love and service. May we grow as a community of faith. Let our words, actions, and attitude reflect Christ in every aspect of our lives. May we take care of each other, strengthen our unity, and walk together in love.

In the year ahead, may we be a light to those around us – compassionate towards those in need, bold in sharing the Gospel, and faithful in the small things. Although we do not know what the new year will have to offer, we step forward in faith and hope rather than anxiety, and trust rather than hesitation.

Thank you as members and friends of the church for your faithfulness, your prayers, and your continued support. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may this new year be a period of spiritual growth, recovery, and joy in His presence.

I wish you a New Year full of blessings and throughout the year.

The final word goes to Penar, with his hymn;

Gwawriodd blwyddyn newydd eto,
o’th drugaredd, Arglwydd cu;
llaw dy gariad heb ddiffygio
hyd yn hyn a’n dygodd ni:
cawsom gerdded yn ddiogel
drwy beryglon blwyddyn faith;
gwnaethost ti bob storm yn dawel
oedd yn bygwth ar y daith.

A new year dawned again,
of your mercy, dear Lord;
the hand of your love without fail
has brought us so far:
we were able to walk safely
through the perils of a long year;
you calmed every storm
that threatened the journey.

Regards and every blessing
